We are currently looking for an ambitious, hands-on telesales / business development executive to join our rapidly growing team. Your role will be selling training and consultancy solutions to both multinational and SME clients throughout the UK.
Working closely with both the Marketing and Sales Manager, you will be tasked with helping us achieve our ambitious growth targets.
The role is based in our Pocklington office, but home-working may be considered for the right applicant.
Responsibilities will include:
- Contacting Senior Executives to discuss their training and business improvement needs and arrange appointments
- Selling open and online training through cold calling against daily call targets
- Generating sales leads for in-house training.
Person Specification:
- Two to three years in a B2B telesales/business development environment.
- Demonstrable success in generating sales from cold calling and warm leads.
- Energetic, determined and ambitious professional sales person.
- Ability to deal with senior decision makers and to close the deal.
- Strong communication & writing skills, good telephone manner.
- An organised and methodical approach.
- Evidence of growing sales and exceeding targets.
- Hungry to succeed.
- Able to champion the brand by ensuring all communications reflect 100% Effective’s brand guidelines and values.
- Previous experience of selling training and consultancy solutions would be an advantage, however full product training would be given.
