Telesales Executive, York – Sales Development Programme Opportunity
We are offering an exciting full-time opportunity for an individual at the start of their career, or those looking to change career path, to join our expanding team and become a key part of a growing business that invests in the development of their staff and offers opportunities for progression.
You will be given a 12-week intensive training programme to become a highly effective telesales professional in the eLearning and classroom training sector. Our training programme will give you the opportunity to learn about eLearning, training, how to sell, how to set appointments as well as opportunities for personal development.
Based in our lively central York office your initial role will be to contact potential customers (through cold calling) to identify training requirements we may be able to fulfil, and secure appointments for our Course Consultants to allow them to introduce and sell our services. Your role will then expand to give you the opportunity to sell eLearning and training courses yourself. You will also act as a brand ambassador by building awareness of our company and services across various sectors. You will support the Course Consultants by developing strategies for targeting new markets, the Marketing team by contacting those who have responded to our e-shots and newsletters, and wider Sales team with general administrative duties and occasionally incoming enquiries.

To be successful in this role you will be:

- Proficient in IT Skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google equivalents

If you have experience of cold calling and can demonstrate success that would be an additional benefit, although it is not essential.

Salary and Bonus
Salary will be negotiable based on experience, in the region of £18k basic with a bonus paid on appointments set and business secured. Auto-enrolment pension scheme and 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays offered.
